This isn't a decision we want to make, but from 12th August 2026, due to the introduction of Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation (PPWR) by the European Union, we will stop sending packages to the following countries:

• Bulgaria
• Croatia
• Cyprus
• Estonia
• Greece
• Hungary
• Latvia
• Luxembourg
• Malta
• Poland
• Portugal
• Romania
• Slovakia
• Slovenia
  

The PPWR is a EU-wide law that hugely increases the admin time as well as financial cost for all shops selling within and to the EU. Although it's across the EU, retailers like us are required to register with each country separately, and every country has a whole different process, requirements, as well as costs. Some need us to have a tax ID for their country, which then means we need to get a notary. For other countries, foreign businesses must hire a local authorised representative. Nearly all countries have no minimum threshold, so if we even send just one package, we must register and pay. With the numerous very expensive hoops to jump through, all different shapes, we must evaluate what is and is not cost effective.

The list of countries we will stop sending to are the areas we do not receive enough orders from to justify the high costs (time, money and sanity!) and/or they don't even have a system in place yet and haven't been able to answer our questions.

Turning away orders is not something any shop wants to do. We're very sorry to the customers affected. We will keep reviewing this, and if cheaper authorised representation services become available to help us, we would absolutely start accepting orders from these countries again.
